4th and 5th of August 2022 mark the first TWFTW Online Conference organised by the International Training Department. Over 100 participants from our African, Asian and other regions joined the program of “Training Translators with Excellence” to discuss and hear about training related topics, such as better integration of theory and practice, advanced linguistic topics, the effective use of various online training tools, and other resources available to us.
Some highlights for participants were
– being reminded of the empowering vision and mission of TWFTW
– the experience of sharing and togetherness
– introduction to the ERA software
– the potential and bright future of online learning
– attention to balancing working and resting.
