In August 2024, 23 students from seven language projects participated in a two week training in Southeast Asia. The subjects covered: Study Skills, The God-Centered Leader, Biblical Leadership & Management, Biblical Exegesis & New Testament, and The Process of Bible Translation.
One student shared: “The training gave me new insights on translation checking and highlighted the importance of exegesis, hermeneutics, and homiletics. It has greatly benefited my work, improving translation styles, accuracy, clarity, and naturalness, while also teaching me about good Christian leadership and reading the Bible with understanding. I am deeply grateful to the facilitators and TWFTW for this opportunity.”
This training equipped participants with skills to enhance their translation work and leadership, furthering the mission to make God’s Word accessible in their languages.
