In July 2023 TWFTW Albania hosted their very first training event to equip students to translate the Bible into Aromanian. The training was attended by four dedicated students and an observer from Slovakia. Two subjects were taught – Bible Translation Principles and Paratext 9.3
The event is a wonderful testimony of God’s providence. The Church of God congregation generously provided all their facilities including a sound system, TV projectors, air conditioning, and a kitchen – at no cost. This created an ideal environment for learning and fellowship.
One of the students expressed that the ten-hour daily schedule seemed inadequate to quench their thirst for God’s Word. For many years Albanians were denied access to the Bible and were not allowed to participate in religious ceremonies.
TWFTW is now reaching ancient Illyricum where the apostle Paul once spread the gospel.
